In accordance with the Taisei Group Philosophy and the Taisei Spirit, we have set forth our “Fundamental Corporate Governance Policy,” “Information Disclosure Policy,” and “IR Policy,” etc., in order to conduct management decision-making in a swift, appropriate, fair and transparent manner, with the aim of achieving sustainable development as a corporation and earning the trust of society.
In accordance with the Taisei Group Philosophy, we respect international codes of conduct such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the eight fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the ISO 26000, and the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, and have set forth our “Human Rights Policy” based on the Action Guidelines for Taisei Personnel and the Taisei Group as a Whole. We are engaged in efforts to foster a corporate culture that respects human rights, through the implementation of training and human rights due diligence, etc.
We are working to make use of diversity in terms of gender, nationality, disabilities, values, working styles, careers, etc., and create a workplace that brings out the full potential of each individual. We have also set forth our “Health and Safety Policy,” and are committed to improving and providing a working environment that is safe and healthy for our employees, with the aim of winning the trust and understanding of society.
Under the Taisei Group Philosophy, we have established our “Environmental Policy” to work on the formation of high-quality social infrastructure through our corporate activities, which are centered on the construction business, and strive to reduce the environmental burden across the entire value chain. We are aiming to achieve a sustainable and environmentally-friendly society that will realize a low-carbon, recycling-oriented society that co-exists with nature, and in which safety is assured.
We have established action guidelines for Taisei personnel and the Taisei group as a whole state, and implement a variety of measures to encourage each and every officer and employee to demonstrate awareness and autonomy. In addition, we have set forth our “Procurement Policy,” and aim to fulfill our CSR together with our business partners. We are working to strengthen the information security of our Group companies and business partners, while at the same time steadily implementing our Intellectual Property Strategy, which addresses both the protection and utilization of our intellectual property.
In our “Quality Policy”, we have set forth our responsibility to efficiently and continuously provide customers with high-quality construction products and related services. We are working to promote technological developments to solve social issues, and to further strengthen measures to secure and cultivate leaders capable of improving the environment, working conditions and other aspects of our business partners.
In accordance with the Taisei Group Philosophy, we have set forth our “Social Contribution Policy,” “Environmental Policy,” and “Declaration of Biodiversity Preservation,” and strive to build good relationships with local communities. By providing support to various global initiatives such as the SDGs (The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals), we are striving to solve social issues and promote activities that contribute broadly to society.
