Selected as a CDP's "Climate Change A List," the Highest Rank, for Third Consecutive Year
March 27, 2025
Taisei Corporation
We, Taisei Corporation (President and Chief Executive Officer, Representative Director: Yoshiro AIKAWA) have been selected as one of the companies on the “Climate Change A List,” the highest level of recognition for the third year running (first selected in 2022) by CDP. This recognition is based on the inclusiveness of our climate-related information disclosure and pioneering initiatives for climate change.
CDP is an international non-profit organization that, in response to demand from institutional investors which have high consciousness toward environmental issues and major purchasing organizations around the world, mainly urges companies and local governments to disclose their environmental initiatives addressing “climate change,” “water security,” “forests conservation” and other issues, as well as to take actions based on the disclosed information. Each year, CDP evaluates the status of corporate disclosure on climate change and places the top-rated companies on “Climate Change A List.”
We consider the impact of climate change on our business as one of the critical management issues. We integrate the results of our risk analysis and countermeasure planning for climate change into our management plan, and promote our environment-related information disclosure in response to CDP, TCFD*¹, TNFD*², and other initiatives.
Moving forward, based on our Group philosophy: "To Create a Vibrant Environment for All Members of Society," we endeavor to achieve and deepen “Carbon Neutrality,” "Circular Economy,” and "Nature-Positive” toward "realization of a sustainable and environmentally friendly society," outlined in our Environmental Policy and the Group's long-term environmental targets, "TAISEI Green Target 2050."
