We, Taisei Corporation (President: Yoshiro Aikawa), hereby announce the grand opening of TAISEI SQUARE HANOI, a state-of-the-art office building in the heart of Hanoi City, Socialist Republic of Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as "Vietnam") in September 2024, which has been developed by our local subsidiary, Taisei Development Hanoi Co. Ltd. as the new office development project (this “Project”).

Taisei Group has been involved in and responsible for every aspect of this Project, from investment and development to design, construction, and operational management. We confidently position TAISEI SQUARE HANOI as the flagship of our international business. With the goal of providing the Vietnamese market with a Japanese-quality, comfortable, and eco-friendly workplace, this Project has also earned the distinction of being the first leased office building in western Hanoi to receive LEED certification. We hope that this Project sets a new standard for office buildings in Vietnam and contributes to enhancing the overall office environment in the region.

The name "SQUARE" reflects both the simple, square shape of the building and its role as a central hub, or plaza, in the western area of Hanoi. The red dot symbolizes Japan, while the letter "T" stands for TAISEI and references the T-square, a vital tool in architectural design during the analog era. By honoring the craftsmanship spirit, we have embedded our commitment to creating an office environment that embodies the finest qualities of Japanese standards.

The design motif draws inspiration from the clean, restrained aesthetics of Japanese architecture, characterized by its precise horizontal and vertical lines. The combination of wood and stone-like materials adds warmth and tranquility to the monochrome, formal setting, creating an office space that is both calm and inviting.

By leveraging Taisei Corporation's advanced technical expertise and incorporating innovative structural design, we have created a spacious, well-proportioned, column-free area that allows for highly efficient office layouts. In addition, we are addressing common concerns in Hanoi office buildings - such as toilets, air conditioning, and elevators - to ensure a comfortable and seamless working environment.

  • Toilets: Each toilet in the building has been designed to Japanese standards and is equipped with a TOTO Washlet - a hot water bidet system that is still a rarity in office buildings in Vietnam. Additionally, the women's restroom includes a powder corner a, dedicated space for makeup and personal grooming, for added convenience.
  • Air Conditioning: The building is equipped with energy-efficient, individual air conditioning units manufactured by Panasonic. Each zone has its own temperature control, ensuring consistent comfort regardless of season or building orientation. This system allows for flexible working styles, free from time-based constraints, by offering adaptable climate control throughout the office.
  • Elevator: In addition to the eight Fujitec high-speed elevators for office floors, there is also an elevator dedicated to the basement, allowing access to the office floor from the first floor without waiting time even during peak hours. As an office for the post-corona era, we have also introduced touchless buttons and plasma ion clusters.
