To promote all over the world our proprietary technologies that contribute to carbon neutrality
November 4, 2022
Taisei Corporation
We, Taisei Corporation, will exhibit its carbon neutral technologies such as “T-eConcrete® / Carbon-Recycle”, an environmentally friendly concrete, and “T-Green® Multi Solar”, a building integrated photovoltaics panels, at the "Japan Pavilion" taking part in the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, from November 6 to 18, 2022.
The "Green Renewal ZEB (net Zero Energy Building) ", with which we renovate existing buildings to ZEBs, will also be introduced.
Together with our group companies, we will promote all over the world various technologies and solutions to overcome environmental issues.
Exhibit Contents
1."T-eConcrete®/Carbon-Recycle"
Our Carbon-Recycled Concrete, prepared with calcium carbonate produced by reacting calcium with CO2 captured from the atmosphere and the exhaust gases as well as large amount of ground granulated blast furnace slag, an industrial by-product, has achieved carbon-negative.
While this concrete maintains the same strength and workability as ordinary concrete, we have been able to prevent rebars from being corroded and to secure the durability of building structures.

2."T-Green® Multi Solar"
“T-Green® Multi Solar (a product jointly developed with Kaneka Corporation)” is the revolutionary exterior system which does not adversely affect the building appearance and improves the energy generation performance.
Medium-rise and high-rise buildings in city centers have small rooftops therefore space for the installation of photovoltaic panels is limited.
“T-Green® Multi Solar” can generate power not only on horizontal surfaces but on the vertical surfaces (both walls and windows) that are exposed to sunlight.
