Taisei Corporation Participating in a Global Initiative “The Valuable 500”

On May 7, 2021, Taisei Corporation (President: Yoshiro AIKAWA) joined “The Valuable 500,” a global initiative aiming to enhance disability inclusion in society through business leadership and opportunity.
The Valuable 500 is a global initiative launched during the World Economic Forum (Davos) held in January 2019.
The initiative has already gained the support of 500 CEOs worldwide who committed to the purpose of the initiative promoting the inclusive reforms to leverage the strengths of diverse individuals in his or her own business so that the persons with disabilities can fully demonstrate their values in the business, society and economy.

As part of this, we have been building workplaces where each of our employees can work lively regardless of disabilities.
In joining The Valuable 500, Taisei Corporation supports the mission of the initiative and will further pursue the following measures.

1) We will enhance activities for hiring persons with disabilities.
2) We will develop a comfortable working environment for employees with disabilities by, among other measures, cooperating with occupational health staff, appointing qualified staff for necessary assistance, and ensuring that any employees with disabilities are able to naturally receive information required for work without any difficulties.
