木質材料用難燃塗布材の開発

本研究は,特殊な装置や設備を使用することなく,難燃木材を製作する方法を開発することを目的とした。
本技術は,従来の難燃木材の主流であった加圧含浸法を用いず,木材に塗布するだけで,防火性能を向上することが可能な塗布材を開発した。
スギCLT表面に塗布し,発熱性試験を実施した結果,建築基準法の準不燃材料の基準を満たすことを確認した。
また,スギ,ヒノキ,カラマツ,ベイマツの表面に塗布した場合,樹種の違いによる防火性能の顕著な差異は少なく,全ての試験体において準不燃材料の基準を満たす結果が得られた。

Development of Flame-Retardant Coating for Timber Materials

The aim of this research was to develop a method of producing flame-retardant timber without the use of special plant or equipment.
This technique does not use the conventional flame-retardant timber pressurized impregnation method , but a coating material has been developed that is just applied to timber and improves its fire prevention performance.
The coating material was applied to the surface of cedar CLT and a pyrogen test was performed. It was confirmed from the results that the criteria for a quasi-non-flammable material according to the Building Standards Act were satisfied.
In addition, in the case where the coating material was applied to the surface of cedar, cypress, larch, and bay pine, there was little difference in fire prevention performance due to differences in tree species, and the criteria for quasi-non-flammable materials were satisfied in all specimens.
