WebARを用いた誘導システムの開発
雲仙温泉街における避難誘導および観光案内誘導の実施例
大規模災害の発災時には，土地に不慣れな人々を含む多様な人々への円滑な避難誘導が重要となる。しかし，非常時にのみ利用されるシステムでは，日常時の習熟不足によるリスクが内在している。そこで，日常時に利用される技術やシステムを非常時にも活用し，生活の質を向上させる「フェーズフリー」という考え方が注目されている。本研究では，「フェーズフリー」の考え方に基づき，平常時には観光案内を，災害時には避難誘導を行うWebベースのARシステムおよび誘導手法を開発し，長崎県雲仙市において実証実験を実施した。実証実験の結果，観光案内ツールとしては，物理的な設備が設置しづらい国立公園内で効果的な案内が可能であることが確認され，避難誘導ツールとしても効果があることが確認された。

Development of a Navigation System Using WebAR
Implementation Examples of Evacuation Guidance and Tourist Information Guidance in Unzen City
In the event of a large-scale disaster, it is critical to provide efficient evacuation guidance for diverse populations, including non-locals unfamiliar with the area. Systems employed exclusively during emergencies are often susceptible to inefficiencies arising from insufficient user familiarity due to their sporadic utilization. Consequently, the "phase-free" concept, which advocates for the integration of everyday technologies and systems in emergency scenarios to enhance overall quality of life, has garnered increasing attention in academia. This study endeavors to develop a web-based augmented reality (AR) system and associated guidance methodologies anchored in the "phase-free" paradigm, designed to furnish tourist information under normal conditions and to facilitate evacuation directives during disaster events. An empirical demonstration was undertaken in Unzen City, Nagasaki Prefecture. The empirical findings substantiate that, as a tourist guidance apparatus, the system efficaciously delivers directions in national parks where conventional physical signage is impractical. Moreover, as an evacuation guidance mechanism, it exhibited a quantifiable degree of effectiveness in directing evacuees.
