「人がいきいきとする環境の創造」への挑戦
建設と医療が連携したまちづくりが拓く未来
大成建設グループは１９９０年より「人がいきいきとする環境を創造する」を経営理念に掲げている。その理念は、2024年度にスタートした中期経営計画にも反映されている。技術センター長の長島一郎は、世界を驚かせた“ミニ臓器”研究者で、ウェルビーイングも研究する横浜市立大学コミュニケーション・デザイン・センター長／特別教授の武部貴則氏と「人がいきいきとする環境」とはどのようなものかについて話し合った。武部氏はウェルネスを構成する要素を、幸福（ハピネス）と健康（ヘルス）の２つに分け、ハピネス側からのアプローチによりヘルスやウェルビーイングに近づく考え方を示した。ハピネス因子を実装した都市「イネーブリングシティ」の取り組みでは、当社グループのまちづくりの知見を活かすことができる。二人の話題は、「人がいきいきとする」をキーワードに、人材育成や社内起業、インベンション（発明）とイノベーション（技術の展開）まで多岐にわたった。

The Challenge of Creating a Vibrant Environment for All Members of Society
The Future of Community Development Through Construction and Healthcare Collaboration
Since 1990, the Taisei Group has adhered to the management philosophy of "Creating a Vibrant Environment for All Members of Society." This philosophy is reflected in the group's medium- to long-term management plan, launched in FY2024. Ichiro Nagashima, Director of the Advanced Center of Technology, had an in-depth conversation with Takanori Takebe, Adjunct Professor and Director of the Communication Design Center at Yokohama City University, who gained global recognition for his groundbreaking research on miniature human organs and is also a leading figure in the field of well-being. By categorizing the components of wellness into happiness and health, Mr. Takebe explained how health and well-being can be approached from the perspective of happiness. In the initiative involving the Enabling City, a city designed to embody the elements of happiness, the Taisei Group's community-building expertise can be effectively leveraged. Inspired by the concept of "a vibrant environment for all members of society," the dialogue between the two specialists explored a wide range of topics, including human resources development, intrapreneurship, invention, and innovation (application of technology).
