24時間換気給気口用サイレンサー「T-Silent® Sleeve －静換気－」の開発
集合住宅の外壁に設置される24時間換気給気口における外部騒音対策方法として，外壁側に防音ベントキャップを設置することが一般的である。防音ベントキャップとは，ベントキャップの内部に騒音低減に寄与する吸音材が組み込まれたものであり，一般ベントキャップと比較して寸法が大きくなるため，意匠性を損ないやすく，かつコストも高くなる。そこで給気口の外壁側ではなく給気スリーブの内部に設置可能なサイレンサー「T-Silent® Sleeve －静換気－」を開発した。遮音性能は，一般的な防音ベントキャップと同等の「φ100：T-2等級相当」，「φ150：T-1等級相当」を達成した。また通気量についても，防音ベントキャップ既製品と比較して静圧損失は小さくなることを確認した。T-Silent Sleeveは，意匠性を損なわず高い遮音性能と通気量を確保できるサイレンサーである。

Development of Silencer for 24-hour Ventilation Air Supply Port "T-Silent® Sleeve"
As a solution to control external noise in the 24-hour ventilation air supply ports of apartment housing, it is common to install a soundproof vent cap on the outer wall side. A soundproof vent cap is a vent cap with built-in sound absorbing material that contributes to noise reduction. Since soundproof vent caps are larger in size than general vent caps, they tend to spoil the external appearance of housing and increase its cost.
Therefore, we developed "T-Silent® Sleeve," which is a silencer that can be installed inside the air supply sleeve instead of on the outer wall of the air supply port. The sound insulation performance is equivalent to that of general soundproof vent caps: φ100: equivalent to T-2 grade; and φ150: equivalent to T-1 grade. In terms of airflow, we also confirmed that the static pressure loss is smaller than that of conventional soundproof vent caps. T-Silent® Sleeve is a silencer that can ensure high-level sound insulation and ventilation performance without the compromising of design.
