研究開発部門創立50周年記念事業
大成建設（株）の技術開発部門は1958年6月に発足し，2008年6月に設立50周年を迎えた。次の50年に向けた取り組みを社内外に示す目的で，50周年記念事業を開始した。50周年記念事業は，(1)技術フェア (2)50周年記念研究 (3)記念誌 (4)記念講演 (5)大学生向け出前講義 の大きく5つの項目からなる。技術フェアは，未来をつくるテクノロジーをメインスローガンとし，環境と安全・安心をテーマに，技術センターにて最新技術を公開した。また，記念研究では，大成建設が描く未来像を示しながら，人がいきいきとする街を創造する技術，海面上昇対応技術，二酸化炭素地中固定技術を展示した。記念誌では，50年の歴史を技術分野ごとに振り返った。出前講義では全国11大学32講義，延べ1533人が受講した。3日間の技術フェアでは，約1800名の来客があった。

Memorial Works for 50th Anniversary of Research and Development Department
The Technology Research and Development Department, at Taisei Corporation was established in Jun 1958. 2008 was the 50th anniversary. Memorial Works for the 50th anniversary describes the vision of research and development for the next 50years. The Works consist of 5 items, (1) Technology Fair, (2) Memorial Research, (3) Memorial Reports, (4) Memorial lecture and (5) Lecture for Students. The Technology Fair exhibited new technology at Taisei Technology Research Center for ecology and safety with the slogan “ Technology for the future”. About 1800 clients and students visited the 3-day fair. Memorial Research seeks to develop technology to create vibrant, people friendly towns, technological countermeasures for rising sea levels and technologies of carbon dioxide capture and storage in the earth. The Memorial Reports reviewed 50years of research and development in Taisei Corporation. The Lecture for Students, was attended by a total of 1533 students across 11 universities.
