スリット状接続構造の電磁シールド性能向上化技術に関する検討

導電性板状材料間の重ね部をビス等により一定間隔で固定する方法(スリット状接続構造と略記)による電磁シールド性能の定性定量化,当該構造による電磁シールド室の空間性能設計技術の確立に関する研究の一環として,当該構造の電磁シールド性能向上を目的とした実用的なスリット状接続改良構造の提案とその効果に関する検討を行った。具体的には,性能に影響する各種要因のうち,重ね合う材料間の導電性能の確保,同部位の隙間の低減を達成するための方策を数種類検討した。その結果,重ね合せる片方の材料端部を重ね合せ側に,適切な幅で折り曲げること,およびその時の「ビス等による固定間隔」を適切な値とすることで,高い性能が達成されることがわかった。また,板状材料が4枚重なる隅部についても同部位の各材料形状と施工手順を工夫することで,実用的な2枚重ね仕様を実現した。

Investigation for Improvement of Electromagnetic Shield Effectiveness of Slit-shaped Joint Construction System

Slit-shaped joints, which are formed by overlapping metallic sheets joined by screws etc. at regular intervals, often need to be used in electromagnetically shielded structures. This study, which is part of a broader project concerning the design and quantitative assessment of the performance of shield rooms incorporating such joints, proposes a practical design of a slit-shaped joint with the aim of improving its electromagnetic shielding effectiveness. The study examined strategies for reducing the space between the overlapped conductive materials and securing high conductivity. As a result, it was found that good performance is achieved by bending one of the overlapping sheets into the lapped portion and joining the sheets by screws spaced at suitably designed intervals. Moreover, by altering the shape of the sheet materials and devising appropriate construction procedures for corner joints where 4 sheets overlap usually, it was possible to develop a corner joint specification that is practically a two-sheet lap joint.
