| Flowchart for seismic safety evaluation of historical
timber buildings was proposed in consideration of the principle for their structural
strengthening ; minimum intervention and reversible intervention. To conduct
seismic ｄｉａｇｎｏｓｉｓ of historical buildings, we should respect the inherent potentiality
of earthquake resistance. As the elemental technique that composes of the evaluation
procedure, the present paper describes the microtremor measurements of structures,
the analysis method of input ground motions, the modeling of structural elements
and the method of seismic analyses of structures. Traditional joint "sashigamoi" of
a column and a beam was analyzed by employing FEM to model its behaviors for
seismic response analysis. |
