The authors investigated the seismic performance
of large-scale underground structures constructed by the MMST method during
level-2 earthquake motion. We conducted the numerical analyses using FEM seismic
deformation method for cross section of the MMST tunnel. As the results, it
was confirmed that the outer shell structures satisfied the requirements for
allowable curvature, shear capacity and story drift. Further, we conducted
the numerical analyses using seismic deformation method for longitudinal section
of the MMST tunnel. As the results, it was confirmed that the ring-joints had
sufficient performance for watertight. |
