The rooftop lawn-planting is one of counter-measure for mitigation of urban heat-island, because the strongest point of this technique is the cooling potential of roof surface by evapotranspiration from lawn-planting and soil. There is many reaserch about heat balance and moisture balance by evapotranspiration. On the other hand, in response to recent increasing trend on choice of soil and composition, it is necessary for supplier to confirm growth process and thermo performance characteristic of rooftop lawn-planting.
Accordingly, in roof exposure experiment, we investigated heat balance on internal water condition of lawn-planting panel "Tepsam" which consisted of lawn-planting, soil for planting, board molded with the thermal insulation foam used as scrap, and the tray which has a drainage function. Consequently, we reported that water content of panel material differ in actual condition of conbined with lawn-planting, soil for planting and molded board. |
