"John Lennon Whom the Japanese Met"
- Summer Special Exhibition 2003 -

The John Lennon Museum (Junichi Mizusawa, General Manager of the Museum / Saitama-city, Saitama pref.) will be holding the summer special exhibition "John Lennon Whom the Japanese Met" from Saturday, July 19, 2003 to Monday, September 29, 2003 in order to look back on how John Lennon had impact on many Japanese people who lived in John's times.
The existence of John Lennon had a great impact not only on his home country England and the U.S., the birthplace of rock'n'roll, but also on far apart Japan. Through newspapers articles and publications that dealt with John, and the people who met him, the exhibition will take a look at how he influenced Japanese culture and the Japanese people in various ways, for each period of his career. |
