John Lennon Memorial Days
--Tribute Event to the Memory of John, 22 years after his death--

The John Lennon Museum (Jiro Kikuchi, General Manager of the Museum/Saitama-city, Saitama pref.) will be holding a tribute event to the memory of John Lennon entitled "John Lennon Memorial Days" for three days from December 7 to December 9, 2002, straddling John's obit, December 8. The outline of the event is as follows.

Setting the Floral Tribute Space, which fans of John can gather (Dec. 7 - 9) |
|
The floral tribute space will be set at the Entrance Hall on the 2nd floor so as anyone will be able to offer flowers for John.

Running "Tribute Free Live Contest 2002" (Dec. 7 - 9) |
|
On a live stage aside of the floral tribute space on the 2nd floor, amateur musicians will be performing live. Total 22 teams, which got through a demo tape screening or recommended by live houses (only one team each store), will vie with each other playing John's songs, including the ones of his Beatles' time, and original songs dedicated to John.
