Research for Wind Induced Tortional Vibration
of Highrise Building |

Recently, wind induced tortional vibration and
its aerodynamic instability shoud be considered in design of highrise building
with flat rectangular plane. In this study, using two kinds of aerodynamic
vibration model, i.e. rigid model and Multi Dgree of Freedom(MDOF) model, properties
of tortional wind induced vibration were evaluated in wind tunnel tests. Although
the difference between tortional vibration mode of rigid model and its target,
the possibility of prediction for precise MDOF model resonpse from rigid model
test results were confirmed in the responce evaluation of two models. |
