When a building is designed, it is very important that the sound environment of the building can be predicted. To realize the precise prediction of the noise propagation in and around a building having many rooms, surrounded by other buildings, extended energy integral equation method has been developed. In the method all energy flows between boundary elements of a calculation model are obtained by solving equations considering multiple reflection, multiple diffraction and sound transmission. In this paper, the theory of the extended energy integral equations and calculation examples are introduced. |
