Recycled aggregates were made from the same demolished concrete with two systems. In the first system concrete was heated before rubbing, and in the second system mortar was rubbed off mechanically. Properties of aggregates made with these systems were tested. Concrete was made with the recycled aggregate, and the influence of the aggregate on mix proportion and the properties of the concrete was examined. As the results recycled aggregates with quality that met requirements in JASS5 could be made with each system, and properties of concrete with the recycled aggregate were as good as those of the concrete with crushed stone as aggregate. |
