テレビゴースト障害対策技術の現状
電波吸収機能を有する外壁板について

　日本の高度経済成長期以来，都市部への人口集中に対処するための土地の有効利用計画が進められ，各都市に高層建築物が目立つようになってきた．このような高層ビルの急増に伴い，ビルの外壁でのテレビ電波の反射によるテレビゴースト障害（テレビ画像が二重三重になる現象）を防止する対策が求められる物件が増えいる．テレビゴースト障害対策は，様々な方法があるが，外壁にテレビ電波を吸収する電波吸収体を設置し，反射を防ぐ方法が最も一般的である．本報では，テレビゴースト障害の発生機構，ゴースト障害対策及びゴースト障害対策用電波吸収外壁の種類や性能について解説し，今後のニーズについての見解を示す．

Technological Trends in Measures to Combat TV Ghost Interference
Exterior Wall Panels With Electromagnetic Wave Attenuation Properties

The phenomenon of TV ghost interference, in which faint "ghost "images are formed on the TV screen partly overlapping the desired image, is caused by the TV broadcast waves being reflected off the exterior walls of high rise buildings. This work is a survey of the measures taken in Japan to combat this problem, and focusses mainly on the development of exterior wall panels with electromagnetic wave attenuation properies. The characteristics of wall panels incorporating various wave attenuating materials capable of absorbing TV waves and thus preventing their reflection are explained and future trends in the technology are predicted.
