This building, constructed in 1955, was converted into a 207-room hotel. We succeeded in achieving revitalization while preserving a historic structure. This project received the Architectural Award from the Los Angeles Business Council and the Historic Building Conservation Award. |

The middle floors of this building, which was over 40 years old, were reinforced for earthquake resistance. The probable maximum loss from an earthquake (PML) was reduced from 52% to 14.8% as a result, and rent income rose by about ´5-6 million per year. |
