Kurumin Mark
In 2007, Taisei became the first
major construction company
to acquire a Kurumin Mark and again in 2009.
Based on the Law for Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation, Taisei is taking positive measures to provide support for childcare. We have formulated a second action plan in order to promote the understanding of the importance of working while raising children and to develop a working environment that makes it easier to use our childcare support system. Taisei received Kurumin accreditation in 2007, a first among major construction companies. The results of the initiatives based on the second-term action plan, such as "establishment of an environment to support the work-life balance of employees who are raising children", and "establishment of various working conditions conducive to allowing employees to review their work styles" gained recognition, and as such Taisei received accreditation for a second time in September 2009.
Currently, we are laying down the third-term action plan to expand the activities recognized by the accreditation scheme.
