Taisei supports its employees in developing their careers by assigning them to the right position at the right time while emphasizing their enthusiasm and ambition.
Decisions regarding personnel changes and job assignment are made under this system by referring to registered data on the types of work employees wish to perform and divisions where they wish to work.
Under this system, the company posts job vacancies on its intranet to solicit applications for the jobs from a wide range of personnel.
The system supports senior employees in finding employment after retirement. It also enables employees to find area-limited jobs within the company.
This program makes it possible to transfer to offices in areas different from the one allocated at the time of recruitment.
At Taisei, employees are interviewed by their superior several times a year to promote full communication between them. Thus the company ensures that each and every employee finds his or her job rewarding and creates an environment in which all employees can display their abilities to the fullest. In this way, Taisei brings together the power of all its personnel to achieve its corporate goals.

An overseas training session
Taisei sends personnel chosen to be international personnel to overseas universities, architectural design offices and research organizations so that they can acquire the technical knowledge required for international projects. As of April 1, 2011, five trainees have been sent overseas.
Since FY 2002, Taisei has provided training at overseas project offices of approximately six months in duration. In harsh environments with cultures, customs, and religions different to those of Japan, trainees acquire an international perspective and the ability to look at things with a broad point of view through their assigned work. Thus, the company develops personnel who can display leadership, whether they work inside or outside Japan.
