"Iki-iki Satoyama Zukuri" by Taisei Group Employees

On Mt. Nanakuni in Machida City, Tokyo, Taisei Group employees and their families worked with members of the Nanakuni Mountain Environment Association, a local environmental group, to mow weeds and thin trees. Experiencing precious nature firsthand, they engaged in "Iki-iki Satoyama Zukuri" (creating a vibrant village forest) to protect the environment.

Ten-year Anniversary of the Mt. Fuji Nanryo Forest Saver Project

The Taisei Group fully supports the Industry-Government-Academia-Resident Collaboration Project for Forestation, which is implemented at the Eco-Factory Mt. Fuji industrial complex in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. An off-campus environmental education class at nearby Fujine Kita Junior High School was held in November 2010. The project is increasingly popular among community residents.
